E-MAIL VIRUS WARNING

Our computer has been attacked by an annoying virus which has corrupted many of our recent e-mails, both in and out. We warn all readers that their computers too may be affected.

Researchers have discovered that a strain of the Nile Virus has been around for years without anyone realising it. It's a type that not even the most advanced anti-virus programs from Norton can kill. For some reason, it appears to affect mostly those PC operators who were born before 1963.

Symptoms of this virus are that it:-

1. Causes you to send same e-mail twice.
2. Causes you to send blank e-mail.
3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.
4. Causes you to send back the message to the person who sent it to you.
5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished writing th

This new C-type variation of the Nile Virus has been given the code-name C-Nile. A further complication sometimes accompanies this virus -- it causes the person to reject violently the idea that he/she has been affected by the C-Nile virus. It's known as the D-Nile Virus.

FOOTNOTE. We can't find the author of this delightful spoof, which has been bouncing around the internet for most of this year. We're always among the last to hear of these things, which should probably be listed as Symptom 7.
